Due to recent threads, I installed the newest OM Workspace and its AI Noise Reduction module (slow to download). Not sure how recent it is, but it's actually very nice software! Here is a comparison of an ISO 25600 image, by Shaminder Dulai, from the OM-1 mark ii sample gallery. OM Workspace, then PhotoLab 7.5.
Thanks for doing that.
From those samples I would use Photolab and not Workspace.
It's a useful piece of work. I believe DXO applies some sharpening mixed in with its NR so it's not quite like for like. I also believe that Topaz Photo can be used in an NR mode only (although not sure with the new version)

You need to lower the "force details" from 0 to -100, under the advanced settings of DeepPRIME XD (or DeepPRIME which is not nearly as good). Then it doesn't sharpen. That sharpening really, really sucks. This setting should have been the default and called "0", and the current 0 should have been called 100 and 100 should have been called 200. The DeepPRIME XD demosaicing and denoising quality is fantastic.
Thank you for that info. I will try it later today
tom
I tried that just now. It is certainly a big improvement, especially when dealing with bird feathers, which look unnatural with the standard deep prime+ processing. thanks for the tip
tom
You're welcome, good to know that it helped you.
