It has been the longest month of my life, but finally my G9ii has arrived back from the repairers {fixed under warranty....phew!}.
The camera was stripped down, and the fault was located to the Main PCB /grip/ realign and tested.
All seems well now, and i have re-set all my previous settings....so am ready for some video action again, and awaiting the arrival of the spring migrant birds.
Thanks to Wex, for their help with this.
