FF vs. M43 Lens Comparisons
3

When the thread ran out we were discussing a FF 70-200 f/2.8 Canon in ASP-C mode vs a 40-150 f/2.8 OLY.

What was not discussed is the OLY can take two different TCs to extend it further for little additional size and weight, and the 40-150 f/4 while losing a stop of light weighs 383g. The Canon weighs 695g, about the same as the f/2.8 OLY. It's 2X heavier and bigger than the f/4 OLY.

If you can live with M43 f/4 it's a much lighter solution. For me, this lens is a delight for the range/size/weight compared with both of the f/2.8 lenses. I'm usually stopping down to f/5.6 or f/8 outdoors so the loss of a stop is not an issue for me.
