Firmware Petition?

I just saw that someone has started a petition for an OM-1 firmware update.

Seems Robin Wong is also trying to go along and help with this scheduled live.

While I do not own an OM-1, I am just curious to know if the camera is that bad. If it was not good, how did it increase sales as compared to the previous cameras?

I've heard nothing but praise of the OM-1 from my fellow wildlife photographers in India, although the brand has a very small footprint in my country. Based on their experience, I was about to buy an OM-1 as a companion to my current E-M1 Mark II. But fortunately, it got delayed due to some financial issues.

Even if, I have the Mark II on pre-order now, I am still positive and sure that OM System would back out to provide whatever is possible within the hardware limits as a firmware update. At least, that is what I think has been their legacy. My E-M1 Mark II is a good example of that. We just need to be patient, I guess.

Let's see, maybe I am wrong, and OMSystem doesn't intend to provide any update.
