Panasonic G9 and Dell USB 3 Issue

I recently purchased a new Dell desktop PC and find that the G9 USB 3 interface will not work on this computer. If a use a USB 2 port the camera connects as it should; with USB 3 port no connection. USB 3 ports work fine with other devices, but not G9. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, solved it?
