Did Metz ever come up with a fix for this?

In 2016, I bought one of these for Olympus.  At that time it was a relatively new release.  I immediately noticed that if the flash was left on for more than about two minutes, the on/off toggle button would not turn the flash off.  I actually have to open the battery door to kill it.  Otherwise, it was and still is an excellent flash.  I contacted Metz and they said that there may be a firmware update later that will fix that.

There were a couple of members here who said they had experienced the same problem.

Does anyone know if they ever came up with a fix?
