I would agree on the mount for dx

Hi all.

After 2 1/2 years....I jumped ship and switched systems.

I wanted better AF subject tracking.

Other improvements are:

IBIS, BULB, way better battery, 3 custom settings on mode dial,

Way more customization..better buffer, SD type II and more.

I actually like the smaller E mount. Seems right for DX (APS-C)

I did enjoy using the Z 50 and 2 kit lenses.

My Sigma 100-400 was getting a bit heavy for my arm (injured) and the 70-350 g lens seems a bit sharper..and I can crop to the 400mm reach and be fine.

So I sold my Z 50

What I did not realize...I will really miss this great forum!!

So many knowledgeable and skilled folk here!!

I don't think Nikon will come out with a DX camera...that has same AF ability...and also about same size/weight as A6700..with it's features...for $1400.

Time will tell. I like Nikon as a company more than Sony.

Never owned a Sony camera...and still surprised I did.

But...for a wildlife APS-C camera and lens will work for me.

Take care Nikon Mirrorless Forum

It makes lenses unnecessarily large on z mount which could be a contradiction for the use of the system. E mount suits it much better.
