Best walkaround wildlife gear?

Can you help me on my quest for ideal walkaround wildlife gear? It means no hiding in tent, no tripod, just walks and shoot living, moving life forms around My usual subjects are shy perched and flying birds and some insect species. My ideas are:

- reach at least 800mm FF eq., at that focal length, zoom lens is a must for me

- good close up ability for occasional insect shots, preffered at least magnification 0,25

- lower size and weight of the whole setup, prefferably below 2kg

- at this point is clear that low light performance will not be great, but hopefully manageable for mid and sunny days

- sharp lens at long end, good AF and stabilisation is of course the target, hovewer, not easy to quantify

So far my favourites are (in this order):

1. Olympus OM-1 with Zuiko 100-400

2. Canon R7 with 100-500

What do you think about it? Some other suggestions, ideas?

Thanks in advance!
