A linux question for SPP

hello everybody.

It has been a long time since I posted here but I was wondering if any body here has experience installing the latest SPP on Linux or has found a workaround to get it working on Linux? I Really would like to stop using Win 10 and have found solutions to my printing  and scanning needs but the one thing remaining is SPP for my Sigma sd quattro. I have even consider just selling my Sigma gear and buy in to something else that has raw files that LInux raw converters do well. But it is hard to quit the Foveon drug. I know I can take photos using dng but the quality of the files do not match the native raw files from Sigma in my experience. But maybe I am doing something wrong?

I know SPP 5.5 worked on linux via wine but it doesn't process the Quattro.

Thanks in advance.
