Lumix 25 mm f/1.7 - continuous humming sound

Hi,

we purchased the Lumix 25mm 1.7 from Panasonic over 2 weeks ago. We are wondering is it ok, because it makes some weird sound:

1) after mount this lens to body and turning on the camera we hear quiet continuous humming sound, like in laptop when the fan is on. Kit lens Lumix 12-60 mm doesn't make noises like this - we hear similar continuous humming sound but much quieter, barely audible. Is this sound OK in 25mm? If yes - what is the source of this sound and why it isn't in 12-60?

2) in Manual mode and Manual focus (MF), when stabilisation is enabled, and we press and hold the shutter, we hear the same but a little louder continuous noise. This noise isn't the same as when the camera focuses. When stabilisation is disabled - this noise is lower. In 12-60 we don't hear any noises when press and hold the shutter, also in AF.

These two lenses (25 and 12-60) are the first we've ever have so we have no experience in that topic and need help.

We wrote to Panasonic and phone them several times but they ignore our question and don't answer specifically.
