sony a7cm2 & Tamron 28-200 serious AF problems
1

I am reporting possible incompatibility: Tamron 28-200 & Sony A7cm2.
The problem is autofocus. Almost every AF photo is either slightly blurry or has a clear back focus. This is visible mostly in wide open shooting.
I noticed that turning off subject recognition and turning on focus peaking "high" helps. In any case, even in these settings, AF does not cope well with focusing on non-contrasting shapes, e.g. my gray cat I sent the lens back to Tamron, they said that they had done all possible tests and that it was fully ok. By the way, it's a pity, because optically my 28-200 is perfectly sharp. Almost like GM, really. Does anyone on the forum have similar problems?
