Behold the International Space Station. It is the little "M" at the edge of the moon at about ten o'clock. Not my best hand held 600 mm moon photo with my birding Sony RX10M4. You don't get the nice crater shadows with the sun almost straight on.  On this occasion the ISS is in the earth's  shadow which means you can't see it coming until it is silhouetted by the moon's face.   I just started taking lots of pictures a few seconds before it was to transect.  I was very lucky to get this one with the ISS as my camera was intermittently pausing to catch up to the buffered images. The ISS transects the moon in about one second. I'm going to experiment with focus stacking to sharpen up the moon since I have hundreds of shots of it in this session.

I know there are better ways to approach this, but it was fun.

Regards, Troy
