We hiked down the South Kaibab trail. Pics from the trail, in late morning sunlight were nothing special.

Thanks for posting. An amazing landscape I hope to visit next year, along with a trip to see friends in Colorado. I thought the Sunset at Yavapai Point photo was especially good.

Terrific photos. Some of the best I've seen of the GC. These could be an advertisement for the 18-135mm.

Nice shootin!

Good. Go. You should enjoy it. I'm always a bit surprised that some folks downplay the experience. It can be crowded and perhaps mid-day sun isn't great but it's still just an amazing place.

We came close (Flagstaff) to the GC in 2001, but for some, now forgotten reason, bypassed it. We've now lived in Denver for 12 years but still hadn't seen it.

After being teased about it by friends who live abroad, but have seen it (and Bryce), we decided to rememdy the situation this year.

Both those parks are spectacular. Yes, they are crowded, but that's because they're so amazing. They are big parks and we found plenty of space to enjoy ourselves (in October).

Go!
