Hi Bosun,

Could you tell me the distance from the rear element to the sensor at infinity, or some information that I can use to calculate this myself please

No problem, back focus from centre of rear element to sensor at infinity is 77mm. Oodles of room for clamps and helicoids, etc., once you have trimmed the rear tube.

Speaking of which, the rear tube is 74mm dia. a totally non-standard size (70.4mm is projection standard), so be prepared for clamping problems if you are going that route.

If you are going the clamp and helicoid route, make sure the whole of the rear light path is suitably blackened. The lens has a large coverage, as befits its medium format projection purpose, so if you are ony using FF there is lots of excess light that can splash around in there.

If you don't already have one, the most surprising thing about the lens is how light it is for its size.
