'Best' Denoise Roundtrip for Capture One

Capture One's denoise ability is not up to the current standards seen in software such as Topaz Photo AI and DxO PureRAW. For high ISO images I'd like to make the raw conversion with Capture One and then send the file to Photo AI as a .tif. Photo AI will work its magic and return the .tif.

Is editing that .tif 'just as good as' editing the original raw conversion? That is, I'm assuming with a 16-bit .tif there is plenty of color data available so that further edits such as highlight recovery or color corrections will not be limited.

Is that correct?
