software to correct distortion using ultra wide lenses?

Hi Folks,

Quite often I need to shoot with an ultra wide lens, say using a Sony 12-24  shooting at 12mm.

Using a pan head also gives me distortion and often too much curvature of straight lines/barrel type distortion.

Because of physics, any shape with straight lines get stretched horizontally, and is worse at the edges of the photo.  eg. Square object often becomes a rectangular object.    While the centre of the photo may be fine, so no need for correction.

Besides using the Warp tool in Photoshop (which is quite difficult to ensure straight lines remain straight), do anyone know of tools that can correct for this type of distortion?

Best
