Art filters question

Hi

I normally shoot wildlife and aviation. But as I’ve recently acquired the 12-100 pro, I fancy doing a bit of street photography.
My question is regarding the art filters built in to the OM1. I want to try vintage filters, black and white, and some of the film grain filters etc.

I have noticed all the filters are also in OM Workspace.
So is it better to use the filter in camera at the time of taking the photo? Or is it better to take the photo without any filter applied in camera and add the filter in OM workspace at home.
I guess at home is easier as if I don’t like the filter I can change my mind to another.
But is it better quality if done in camera at the time of the shoot. Or any other advantage?

Thanks 👍
