My first time shooting the aurora borealis, so be kind.

I've lurked here for a while, picking up tips and soaking in the collective knowledge. We don't often get the light show we saw tonight in MN, so I thought I'd try it this evening.

I messed up on two things- not manually setting the ISO to 2000, an also not adjusting WB to 3500. Just got caught up in the moment, I guess...not often we get to see this in Minneapolis.

Nikon Z 6 II, Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8, 2 second shutter speed, auto WB and ISO, remote thru SnapBridge.

Be kind I know it is a garden variety picture, but I wanted to post at least one photo in this forum before DPR goes away. All u experienced astro guys... I would have completely given up on something that completely fascinates me without the ridiculous depth of knowledge here. I just don't know how DPR will ever be replaced...I'm still hoping for SOMEONE to come along and keep DPR alive.

Thank u DPR, and thank all of you here for getting me stuck on yet another addiction...outside of ice fishing
