Budget friendly Nikon Full Frame Camera

Hi, A couple of years ago I bought a Z50. I am very happy with the camera but I would like to support it with a full frame camera. The idea is to use the full frame as main body to grow as a photographer and use the Z50 in situation where portability is essential.

I would like:

  • more then 20MP
  • a slightly bigger body ( I don’t mind the weight)
  • a solid and tropicalized body
  • double memory slot (optional)

I’m not interested in video features.

My budget is 1000/1500$ so I’m focusing on the used market. At the moment I found some dslr (D800, D810) and Mirrorless (Z5, Z6) models. In any case I should also consider buying at least one lens ex: 24-120 f4 or 50mm

I do mainly landscape, urban and travel photography. I don’t need crazy fast fps but I would like a good/workable high iso (1600/3200) support.

What model/lenses do you recommend? Does it make sense to invest now in dslr?

Nikon Z50
