REALLY?
24

The loss of DPR is an immense blow to many people who, like myself, have been members here for many years.

I cannot count the number of times I have had help in so many forums from Retouching to PC, from Video to camera forums: the loss is immeasurable and I am unaware of anything that comes close to the wealth of knowledge, camaraderie and help found here.

I wish and hope someone might be able to take over the site, if it were possible to ensure it remains the most incredible fountain of knowledge on so many topics.

Friendships have been built here which take time to develop and where I cannot see the same happening elsewhere.

I sincerely hope someone might take this site over or even better, the owner of Amazon/DPR, recognise the value this community has and perhaps look at this altruistically rather than financially and support the many people who have sustained and contributed to the site over many years .

On a personal view, I cannot thank enough the many friends and people who have helped and given me support and advice over many years, both through the forums and privately.

Thank you all,

Ray
