R8 = 461 g
RF 35 f1.8 IS– 300 g
RF 85 F2 IS = 497 g
Total 1258 g
the RF 24-105 stm is just 391 g - your at 1.6 kg out the door
What about this? It's around 1800 gms (a weight I just travelled with).
Canon R8 460 gms
Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM 165 gms
Canon RF 35mm F1.8 300 gms
Canon RF 85mm F2 IS 500 gms
Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM 395 gms
65mm (APS-C equivalent) as your longest fl? That would be a no go for me. But for "only" 650g more (a total of 2450g) you could add the RF 100-400 .
well, for world class AF and BIF application, it is worth it for me
I would miss the 32mm lens.
Op doesn't have 32
Op doesn't have a second m body to sustain m like you intend
these are investments that could be applied to upgrading to RF
And I would miss the EF-M 11-22mm UWA zoom. That is my most used lens when traveling.
one needs to separate traveling kit, from everything else, and yes, op could get both m and RF. Op could keep m50 and 11-22 and get m32 and sell everything else
I will take my m6II + 11-22 + 32 traveling, but I'll also include my R8 + RF 24-105 F4L in my bag because it has its foot in the door for inside shots with some motion (people) with a zoom - whereas, m zooms are slow and are mostly for outside
Does size matter to you? Or is it only weight that matters.?
Those are two questions that are leaving out a third more important question.
Does capability matter to you? eg, why did you yourself get an R6II ...

The Sigma 56mm is about the same length as the EF-M 32mm
