Hi, I have a problem with the flip display turning off after about 10 seconds. Firstly, I should say that I have disabled all of the auto power saving functions that turn the screen off after a certain time.

I'm using a Laowa manual only macro lens. Because of the small aperture and fast shutter speed I'm using a flash. The simulated exposure on the screen seems - at least to me - to depend on the flash being turned on. (If I have the flash turned off the display, except for the camera data, will always be dark, . My problem is that the display continues to turn off after a very short time unless I keep half-pressing the shutter or pressing another button. This is very frustrating.

Does the screen fully turn off or are the camera settings still visible?

If the camera settings still are shown then you are running in the metering timeout. I would simply turn off the exposure simulation if that is the case.
