Right click file in lightroom and click "Enhance Details" then process the file with the popup, it fixes the image so it renders the same as Capture One.

Seems like I found out the fix 5mins after my first posts. its always the way

Anyway, for others. This is how

It's becoming old but still my most viewed post on my blog... If you're not keen on duplicating files or using DNGs, I show you my tests and results for an optimal result in LR here: https://fabienb.blog/sharpening-fujifilm-raw-in-lightroom/

It probably needs updating now, with the recent software releases, but it still seems to be valid for LR.

It is not just about sharpening. The demosaicing in DxO PL6 seems to do a completely different job with Fuji files that LR does. Leaves, gras and other (mostly green(ish) ) details are much better defined and hence cam be sharpened without issue. So I rather have a DNG fine on top of my RAF file.
