Oddly enough that’s precisely how I’ve been using my recently acquired (used) 10-24 today.

The first time I bought one I quickly decided it was too bulky for urban use and I returned it. This time I got it primarily for rural landscapes but it turns out it’s really not that bulky after all (at least once you leave the hood at home). Plus, with the internal zoom meaning I’m not constantly shrinking the lens back to the wide end when I stop shooting, it’s like having a 10 for architecture and a 24 for street both fitted at once.
