Thanks everyone for all the comments. The camera is supposed to be here Friday, and I'm sure I'll have all kinds of questions once I get a look at it.
I don't know how much I'll actually use the camera, because as I said, I bought it mostly out of curiosity, but I've always liked Fuji, and this little camera seems like it could be a lot of fun.
I'll try not to make a pain of myself, with dumb questions, once the camera arrives.
I guarantee once you get it a sort it you will use it a lot. This is how I set mine up:
Don't leave it on the factory settings. I mainly use P mode and sometimes A or S. In P mode I have AF set to Single and smallest single point, min shutter speed 1/100, max iso 6400 and high performance mode always on. With such a fantastic lens and sensor, large crops are easy. I love Velvia and Classic Chrome. Here is a typical shot of mine:

Thank you. It sounds like you've given me some good advice.
To be honest, my favorite prime lens cameras are the Sony RX1 series and I bought the RX1 when it was fairly new, but I've also owned both the Fuji X100S and X100F cameras, over the years.
I ended up selling both Fuji cameras in favor of keeping the Sony, but I thought the X100 cameras were very good, and don't ever remember saying a negative word about them.
Anyway, long story short, I'm like you and prefer to use a camera on single point autofocus. I've always found it to be the most reliable, for me.
I know multipoint autofocus or eye/face detection works very well for some people, but everyone is different, and I prefer the “old school” single point.
I also, hardly ever use the manual setting, and opt for one of the semi-auto, shutter, aperture, or Program modes.
When I owned the Fuji cameras, I primarily used the Provia setting while shooting JPEG and probably need to be more forward-thinking and use Velvia or one of the other film modes with the XF10.
