You might want to take a look at the RF 24-105 f4 as well. I went for the extra reach over the the 24-70 f2.8. You can still get a nice blurred background at the longer focal lengths (not as much as the f2 8, but still pretty nice) and with the high iso capabilities of todays cameras its no problem to use in low light. Focus is very fast & its not to big. It's my most used lens, followed by the 85f2 & 35 f1.8.
