As long as you have decent size memory cards, I’d get a non-recording monitor instead. You can pick up a good one for quite a bit less than the Ninja.

For audio look at the Audio Technical AT875R. Compares very well to much more expensive XLR shotgun mics (look at the YouTube reviews). If you  have a bit left over, get the Zoom F3 for recording your audio. It has 32-bit float, so you don’t need to worry about setting audio levels.

Just FYI, i have the Ninja and like it. However, I also have a 2nd monitor - I think Feelwell brand - that also works great… just doesn’t record and is WAY less than the cost of the Ninja.
