I want to bump this thread as the X-H2 has been on the market for months now.

Is it confirmed that the shutter is 14-bit?

Is there any shutter shock with the mechanical shutter or I'll have to use EFCS or the e-shutter?

If I don't pan the camera, but have the camera on a tripod aimed at the subject and record an interview, I suspect rolling shutter won't be a problem?

Honestly, I never use the mechanical shutter, because the Electronic shutter is just awesome.

How so?

It’s so fast, silent, and almost never has any rolling shutter effect.  Think of it as an APS-C version of the Sony A1 or Nikon Z9 (that camera doesn’t even have a shutter and the X-H2s is a smidge faster than that).
