In a YT video Jan Wegener shot gulls in flight without noticing any rolling shutter effect. My Nikon 1V3 (2014) had 12.5 ms. A little ahead of the R5, and the RS is acceptable. So I really hope for a R7 ii at the same level, or better. Take your time, Canon, I can wait until 2025.

This is with the R5 and that sign wasn’t tilted in real life. Great Egrets aren’t terribly fast and with many backgrounds it’s not so noticeable but rolling shutter is there.

Okay, but you didn’t say… we’re you using MS, or ES ???

Ah yes, ES, I don’t see this effect with EFCS. Haven’t really used MS.

Nice shot. And the leaning sign doesn't detract from it at all (plenty of signs actually do lean).
