In-camera lens corrections only apply to jpeg images, and to the the jpeg preview embedded in a RAW.  For some lenses, these cannot be turned off, and the reason for that is so that you see the corrected view via the EVF and LCD.  However the RAW file will still show the uncorrected image with the distortion, and you need to apply a profile when processing.  Canon DPP applies exactly the same correction as the camera body.  Lightroom and DXO PL (and others) have their own correction profiles which are not exactly identical.  You can set your RAW processor to apply correction by default.  If you only use jpeg, you don’t need to do anything.
