Most panaonic cam can do hdmi out while recording internally and monitor display, Sony one is mostly to the newer cam, older cams like a7iii turn off lcd screen when doing 4k, a6x00 series turn off lcd screen when recording
Canon so far only Eos R and R5 can do internal recording + lcd +hdmi out which is really annoying as livestream getting more popular, one way to counter is get external monitor with both hdmi in and out port to get over the blank internal screen situation.
Thanks. This saves me a lot of time. I just thought since R has it, R6 II would be much better with this and not not have it at all. For majority of video shoots manual focus is much better option but sometimes.... Changing ships is expensive proposition so I have to see if R5 is better solution for me.
Btw, how do you find manual focusing/peaking on R6 II? It's not the easiest thing to do on R.
