X-T4 is discontinued. New cameras with new sensors are on the market. Still no hope for X-T4 settings coming to X-T3. It is pity.

Someone compare cameras and cars business. I do not know if they have something in common, but some car manufactures buy your old car when you get new one.

I do not mind to return my X-T3 and get X-T5 on 50% for example. I also would mind to pay some reasonable price for upgrade. But getting X-T4/5, having X-T3, just because of few film simulations... no thanks.

I’ve said this before in this same thread, but the fact is that as a rule, Fuji never do share film simulations with older cameras.  Classic Chrome (the first “new” film sim) is the only exception to that, back in 2014.  Everything else since has been released on a brand new camera and remained exclusive to that and newer cameras.  I think at this point it’s a waste of time expecting anything different.

XT3 owners meanwhile have had meaningful updates ported over from the XT4 in the form of AF improvements.  Some of that update - specifically the new subject tracking AF - never even made it to the X-Pro3, a newer camera released a year after the XT3, so it’s not all bad news for XT3 owners.
