Belt/waist pouch to fit the 10-24?

Tamrac Arc lens cases

I used the Tamrac Arc lens cases and am happy with them. They are my go to when hiking/backpacking/biking. I have all three models, but my medium sized one is discontinued and the new medium is 1.5" longer.

The 1.1 fits the 10-24 quite well. With the stock lens hood on forwards, it fits pretty much exactly length-wise,

and with the lens hood reversed, there is a little vertical play. I solve that by putting a small micro fiber cloth that I'd be packing anyways in the bottom, but a piece of CCF from a camping mat or whatever would serve the same purpose. Forwards or reversed, the girth of the lens hood keeps the lens pretty securely in the pouch width-wise. without the hood, there would be a little play. The 1.1 size also fits the 16-55 perfectly, but the lens hood needs to be reversed to fit.

Here's the various pouches(and the Tamrac waist belt I used when biking or day hiking with my waist-strapless daypack.

2.4 fits the 50-140 or 100-400, both with a little bit of leeway length and width-wise. 1.1 fits the 16-55 or 10-24. 1.3(now 1.6) carries the 70-300, can also fit it with the 1.4x tc attached. The newer 1.6 is 1.5" longer than my 1.3, and so could probably now carry the 50-140 more securely than the 2.4, but would leave a lot of extra vertical room with the 70-300.

There is a little loop on the top if you wanted to secure it with a caribiner. The velcro straps that go over the belt are pretty secure tho, so even without, I don't think you'd have a problem with them sliding off the waist belt past the buckles.

The fabric it fairly weatherproof, but I would not say the zippers are exceptionally so. I've definitely found the insides to be damp(not dripping wet, just general dampness) if I've got caught out in the rain for an extended period, and would want my lens in plastic bags if that were a possibility. I just stuff a couple of the thin produce bags in the bottom for using if I think it might rain a lot.
