R7 from my car ?! What the heck ?!?!

Thanks for all the input.

Honestly, I think I'm leaning towards the "heat radiating from a warm car, to cold air outside" situation, causing blurry air.

I'm sure my car is quite warm, even with the heater off. I'm a big, heat radiating guy, but also, have a power amplifier under my seat which although I do not use it, as soon as I start shooting, I'm using it all of my drive there... And it stays powered up as long as the car is powered up.... So probably a long time to cool off.

I wonder if I wore really warm clothes, turned off the heater and stereo on the way, and even put all my windows down for the last 5 minutes of my drive > in other words, made the car miserable cold 😀 lol ... If this would fix the problem ???

I might actually try this, this afternoon. There is a rarish bunch of birds in a housing area I need to go find.... Plus I'm afraid of spooking them. So I might first shoot from the car, then see if they will let me get out....
