Re: Moving from Canon M system

If someone has already said this, sorry

First never buy a crop lens again. Pick a FF line and stick with it and buy only lens's for that line. Simple.

The reason is at some point in the future you will move to FF so never again buy a lens that will not work on that system and not crop. You will just be wasting a lot of money

The reason is at 72 and I look at my old gear list I see a LOT of stuff that never paid for itself.

So take the time to decide the path you want to take and STAY the path

damn just went and took a look at my PAST gear list Total of 9 crop bodies and not one FF. I have had both my R and R6 from day 1 and it was not long ago I sold/traded my last EFs lens so now its only RF ff. So what did buying Crop save me NOTHING. If you look at my old equipment list there is also a lot of very old SLR items and early mirrorless.  I even tried the M5 but it had one flaw, with a flash, on the half press it took 1-2 sec to figure the ev value .  Your subject was long gone by then*

Yea I am a crazy old man

* sure it could of been operator error
