Re: Moving from Canon M system

Hello:

Based on your preferences and requirements, it seems like the Canon R system is the best fit for you. The Canon R50 with the lenses you listed would come in under your weight limit of 1.5kg and includes an EVF, which is a must-have for you. The Canon R10 is slightly heavier and bigger, so it may not be as suitable for your needs.

If you do decide to stick with the M system, you could consider trading in some of your unused Canon lenses and bodies for some of the lighter M lenses you mentioned or upgrading to newer M bodies.

Alternatively, if you are willing to sacrifice the EVF, the Sony ZV-E10 and its accompanying lenses could also be a good option for you, but keep in mind that you may have to compromise on some of the lens choices.

Ultimately, the decision depends on your personal preferences and shooting style. You should consider renting or borrowing the systems you are interested in to see which one feels the most comfortable and suits your needs the best.

Me, I'd continue with the M-System for a while I think.
