Fuji X-H2 resolution?

Be interested in user feedback, as it might make a cool second body but if the results are typical, can't see much point over the 26mp options. There was a lot of interest in the x100 camera when I was in the shop!

Of course there is diffraction.  Every optical system with an aperture is diffraction limited at some point - period.  It is simple physics.  The 26 MP APSC is diffraction limited by f8.  The 40 MP is diffraction limited at about f6.8 - f7.2.  A 90 MP FF will be diffraction limited at f6.8 - 7.2 since a 90 MP FF is the same pixel density as a 40 MP FF.

Canon in their APSC has gone to 33 MP.  Fuji has gone to 40.  Nikon doesn't really support APSC.  I expect Sony will probably follow suite with higher MP APSC.  Of course Fuji has a brand spanking new 26 MP sensor but it basically for speed.
