I have a R7 and a 90D; why shouldn't I sell the 90D?

Re: I have a R7 and a 90D; why shouldn't I sell the 90D?

Thanks to all who answered my query. For the moment, I think I'll keep the 90D for back up, and the very rare case I want to use the built-in flash. The 90D has much superior battery life, of course, but I can easily bring along an couple extra batteries. The best camera is the one I will actually carry (there is no FF body in my future), and I like the lighter weight and greater compactness of the R7. Both are great bodies, for sure. As I believe the 90D is likely to be the last DSLR in the xxD series, it should keep its value for a good while, as it will be valued by those who really value the DSLR design.

(BTW--I am amused by complaints about the noise of the R7 mechanical shutter, which certainly doesn't seem worse than the 90D or the earlier bodies I have used over the years.)

Everyone looks for different features, of course, but one thing I love about the R7 is the really outstanding IS (LensIS + IBIS). It is incredible, and superior to any IS I have experienced before. The accuracy and speed of focusing is great, too, but not noticeably superior to the 90D, for subjects I generally have.
