It's very useful with one end toggling the histogram, the other toggling the level and the swipe controlling viewfinder magnification. I wish I could do that with my other cameras, but yes, it would be wasted as a horrible ISO control. It's impossible to switch between a selected ISO and auto ISO anyway if the metering is switched on. The R has better controls for ISO already.

Can you take a screenshot and show how you set up would like to do the same
