On both my R7 and R6II I have the movie record button set to toggle silent shooting on and off. I find this to be a really quick way to access e-shutter, and preferable to having a second shutter button, which I would be more likely to accidentally press.

It is certainly easier that way than going into the menus, but it still isn't as fast and immediate as choosing between two shutter buttons, IMO.

How often do you step on the brake when the light turns green, or the accelerator when the light turns red?  I haven't done anything like that since I first was learning to drive in the 1970s.
