Last week, a friend who traded in a Nikon Z30 was told by a very big UK retailer of used equipment, 'shutter actuations on a mirrorless didn't matter in comparison to a DLSR' where there are more moving parts.

They only list actuations on used DSLRs on their website.

That is really inaccurate.  Mirrorless cameras (accept the Z9) have mechanical shutters just like an SLR.  The only lack a mirror.  All shutter mechanisms wear out eventually.  Although the only people likely to encounter such limits are pro sports shooters firing thousands of images per day every day.

If you are worried about the wear and tear of clicking the shutter button, use electronic shutter or use a sketch pad and pencil.
