Hi, is anyone else finding the R7 a bit on the small side ?

AF speed is incredibly good, it's full of wonderful functions, but its small size means smaller and more fiddly controls compared to a 7D II.
Great if you want a smaller and ligher camera, but that joystick and dial combination, argh!

Canon, please could we have a version with a more pro-like body like the 7D II, or even like the 90D ?

Anyone else feel the same?

I do not own any APS-C at the moment but I will add one if I see something I like, so I tried my friend's R7 just last weekend and found it not just a bit but way too small and feels very uncomfortable. I was told they don't even offer the vertical grip for this model, so that tells me Canon is not too serious about this camera, so it's not likely they will make a larger version, most likely they will keep the form factor the same for the same series of product, and if you want larger more comfortable body, you will need to go to next series when they become available, at least that's what Canon does in the last 30 years. 1D is always a 1D, 5D is always 5D 20D is 20D, and Rebel is rebel forever no matter MK I or MK IV........... may be wait for the R5 style APS-C body. at least I am waiting for one, I have tons of Canon and Nikon lenses so whoever comes out with a high end APS-C ML, kind of a D500 Mirrorless replacement will get my money right away. currently have Z9 and a few 1D on the FF side, but a high end APS-C body with good ergo and a stacked sensor will definitely get my $$$$, really handy for wild life , sports events, moon.......
