I have a X100V new and I've already put actuations on the shutter so I don't know what it had from the factory new but the count seems high for what I've shot. I don't have access to it right now to check if the image numbering matches the shutter counter. I was told by fujifilm USA tech support that the X100 series does 1 actuation for turning on and one for turning off since the leaf shutter opens and closes on power on and off. I haven't verified this first hand. Also something about using first curtain mode clocks in 2 shutter actuations per photo. Not sure about other non photo taking camera functions that might also increment the shutter counter.

According to the manual "Other actions may also increment the counter, for example turning the camera off, changing the viewfinder display selection, or choosing playback mode."
