I don't have a problem with the size, but like everyone else said, I wish Canon had not "dumbed" it down so much - no grip accessory, fewer dials and buttons than the R6 and better, small buffer at uncompressed RAW. Overall I enjoy the camera more than I thought I would, but I think Canon misread the room when it decided who the target was. I would have gladly paid $500 more for the above and I don't think I'm alone. Now we just have to wait 3 or so years for Mk II and hope Canon gives it a serious upgrade.

The no optional grip thing seems strange to me.  Why would Canon take away the possibility to sell us another expensive accessory?  I guess it’s to make the R7 seem less “professional” so they can steer more serious photographers to a more expensive model.  Even if that’s the case it seems like it would still be more profitable to just let them buy the grip for the R7 then buy another when they later upgrade to a more expensive model.
