I want to bump this thread as the X-H2 has been on the market for months now.

Is it confirmed that the shutter is 14-bit?

Is there any shutter shock with the mechanical shutter or I'll have to use EFCS or the e-shutter?

If I don't pan the camera, but have the camera on a tripod aimed at the subject and record an interview, I suspect rolling shutter won't be a problem?

- Yes, Raw is 14 bit.

- I've not done tests with the full mechanical shutter for shutter shock. I see no reason not to use EFCS with the EF+M setting which converts over to full mechanical at 1/2000 sec.

- If you are  doing video on a tripod, not panning, and the subject is not rapidly moving, rolling shutter should not be a problem.

The X-H2 is a well performing, very comfortable and capable camera to use. I recommend it.
