They will probably eventually launch an RF equivalent, but there is no news on that yet.

An RF camera will treat your EF(-S) lens natively, and you get the various mirrorless advantages with those lenses. And the adapter only adds back the space that was there on the DSLR, so mirrorless + adapter + lens isn't any bigger than your old setup.

As another user mentioned, drop-in filter adapters (personally, I have a Kolari one with Kolari and Breakthrough filters) are also available and let you stick filters on any EF(-S) lens. A nice bonus capability if you get that too, though most of the time I just use the regular adapter.

In short... You have the EF-S lenses. They are 100% compatible with the R7 (and they actually work better with it). If you are happy with the EF-S lenses, just keep using them. You could always get a different lens later if you are interested or one intrigues you.
