Normally you should let the camera acclimatise to the warmer air inside by putting it into a plastic bag and let it warm up gradually. Best to turn it off before and remove the battery. In your manual it will state what amount of humidity the camera is designed to take but it will also explicitly state "non condensing". So if condensation (fogging up) happens you are outside the operating window of the setup - and then your camera could have been bricked right there and then...
