R6 II movie AF jumping to background?
1

DPR published full R6 II review and it says:

"However, we've found the [movie] AF to be significantly less dependable than in stills mode, regularly jumping to the background."

"We found that setting 'Subj. detect AF' to 'Detect. only' significantly improved video AF's reliability when focusing on people."

I'd like to ask owners who have experience filming with that camera - how noticeable it is? Does "detect only" mode solve it or just reduces the issue?

I will have to record a small performance and I'd like to know what is a chance of recording it in a single take (about 5 minutes) without AF issues. This will be a seated person in front of camera but not looking directly into the lens.
