1005.5 vs 1004 is a hair. At face value, 5.5 and 4 have a ratio of 1.375, which can make a difference in fast vertically-moving objects like a beating wing tip. Also, was the "mechanical" measured? I wish there was a commercially-available LED light bulb that was calibrated to 1000Hz duty cycle (on/off). Then we could compare images and settle on more exacting numbers, and get more accurate data. The R7 rolling shutter is 31.3ms according to the chart, but I have measured 29.6ms.
