The batteries show up in the camera without warning messages, and they can be charged in-camera via USB-C.

Just to double check, the batteries will charge in camera via USBC? I have some 3rd party batteries that work fine but will not charge in the camera.

If these really do charge in camera I'm off to buy a set as I no longer want to carry dedicated battery chargers on trips.

Thanks.

The Neweer set I bought a year or so do charge in camera. Recently I decided to give one of these a try

So far so good. I’d also like to be able to leave the dedicated chargers at home.

Thanks. That's an innovative idea. I always Carry a spare USBS cable so it would be possible to charge 2 batteries at now time. I did notice something about it only charging at 1A. I assume no harm connecting to a more powerful charging brick? Any idea how long they take to charge?

I haven’t watched very carefully but so far it has always charged within two hours. I normally put it on the charger when I get home and by the time I’m done with dinner it’s fully charged. The charger I’m using is a 65w PD wall plug and PD rated cable (the one I use for my laptop)

Thanks.  Just ordered one.
